PhD position with training program GRK 2504 „Novel antiviral approaches” (m/f/d)

Die Aufgaben

The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree or equivalent in cell/molecular biology, immunology, or a related field. Since the project aims to analyse antigen-specific cells in relation to initial germinal center responses and subsequent humoral/B-cell memory formation in mice immunized with various vaccine formulations, previous expertise in working with mice (including a FELASA B certificate) is essential for this position.
Furthermore, expertise in cell culture/isolation of specific cellular populations (with a preference for immune cells) and techniques such as ELISA, ELISPOT, and flow cytometry is highly desired. Additional experience with mRNA technology and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) will be considered a merit.
