We invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher position at the University Hospital Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany. The position is fully funded through a three-year project supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
Your tasks:
- Development of MRI-sequences and evaluation methods
- MRI-scans of phantoms and human subjects
- Evaluation of measured MRI data
- Publication of results in scientific journals with quality assurance

Qualifications:
- PhD in MRI physics, medical physics, biomedical engineering, or a closely related field
- Ideally, prior experience in IVIM and/or diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI)
- Strong interest in method development and translational research
- Ability to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team
- Very good command of English; German is not required
